Assistant Poultry Farm Manager (rearing)

Our client, the UK's largest breeders and rearers of chickens require an Assistant Farm Manager, your role will be to assist Farm Manager, cleaning out sheds, and farm areas, assisting chicken catching teams, and to ensure chickens welfare is kept to required standards, making sure feeders are working and areas are clean, other duties include washing down and cleaning, ability to keep vaccinate birds and keep records advantageous, along with management of staff.
Experience on a commercial poultry farm essential.
This is a full time position,
for a minimum of 6 months(provided you meet certain criteria during this period),
after this time there is the opportunity of permanent employment and career. Ideally
you will live in within 10-15 miles of East Tisted.
The hours of work vary from 6am
start till 3-4pm finish, Mon to Saturday. Salary dependant on experience, workwear
provided.
